Open a Teen Checking Account
Earn up to $100*
Initial $50 Reward:
- Open a Teen Cash Back or Elite Rewards Checking Account.
- Set up an Online Banking login.
- Reward deposited to the account within three business days of opening.
Activity-Based $50 Reward:
- Make at least one deposit and complete five transactions in the account within the first 30 days of account opening.
- Reward deposited within the first six business days of the month following the qualification period.

No Monthly Maintenance Fees
Our Teen Checking Account is free from monthly maintenance fees, helping teens keep more of their money as they learn to budget and manage their expenses effectively.
2.5% Cash Back Rewards
With Jordan Credit Union’s Cash Back checking, you can earn up to 2.50% cash back – that’s $7.50 a month, or $90 per year! We’ll also reimburse you up to $20 in ATM fees each month. Just complete three easy qualifications each qualifying cycle to earn the cash back reward. Details
Scholarships
The credit union seeks to reinforce good savings habits in all of its members, but especially in young members, which is why the Youth Scholarship program was created. To encourage teens to save, for every $5 deposited into an eligible youth savings account, a ticket is automatically generated for the drawing at our Annual Meeting.

- If the teen has a government ID (age 16+): Valid government ID and the SSN/ITIN (card not required) for the youth/teen.
- If the teen does not have a government ID: Valid government ID for the parent (joint owner) and the SSN/ITIN (card not required) for the youth/teen.
