Your Medicare recommendations can be based on your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and individual needs. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, Cherlynn takes time to understand what matters to you.
Local Medicare Help
Work directly with a local Medicare advisor who helps Utah residents understand their healthcare options. You get personal guidance instead of relying on a national call center or scripted conversation.
Help From Start to Finish
Cherlynn can help you compare Medicare options, understand enrollment timing, and work through the application process. She also remains available to answer questions after enrollment or when your situation changes.
No Cost and No Obligation
Medicare Advising is offered as a free service for Jordan Credit Union members. You can ask questions, learn about your options, and decide what is right for you without an obligation to purchase.
How Medicare Advising Works
1. Reach Out
Call or email; there is no paperwork to prepare before your first conversation.
2. Talk It Through
Cherlynn reviews your situation, including your doctors, medications, budget, and enrollment timing. This helps her understand what you need from your Medicare coverage.
3. Compare Your Options
Review Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, prescription drug plans, and Medicare Supplement coverage side by side. Cherlynn helps explain the differences so you can better understand your choices.
4. Enroll With Confidence
When you are ready, Cherlynn can walk you through the application and enrollment process. She can also help you understand important enrollment dates so you can complete the process on time.
5. Get Ongoing Support
Your questions may not end after enrollment. Cherlynn remains available during Annual Enrollment and when your healthcare or coverage needs change.
Understanding Medicare
Parts A & B: Original Medicare
Original Medicare is provided directly by the federal government. Part A covers hospital stays, skilled nursing, and some home healthcare, while Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient services, and preventive care.
Deductibles, copays, and coinsurance may apply.
Part C: Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage is a private-plan alternative that includes the coverage provided by Medicare Parts A and B. Many plans may also include prescription drug, dental, vision, or hearing coverage.
Costs, provider networks, and plan availability vary by region.
Part D: Prescription Drug Coverage
Medicare Part D helps pay for prescription medications. Part D coverage may be available as a standalone plan with Original Medicare or included with many Medicare Advantage plans.
Drug formularies and costs vary by plan.
Medigap: Medicare Supplement
Medicare Supplement insurance is optional coverage sold by private insurers. It can help pay certain out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare does not cover, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
Medicare Supplement coverage cannot be combined with Medicare Advantage.
No cost. No obligation. This service is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency or the federal Medicare program.
