Teen Rewards Checking
Initial $50 Reward:
- Open a Teen Cash Back or Elite Rewards Checking Account.
- Set up an Online Banking login.
- Reward deposited to the account within three business days of opening.
Activity-Based $50 Reward:
- Make at least one deposit and complete five transactions in the account within the first 30 days of the account.
- Reward deposited within the first six business days of the month following the qualification period.
Youth Reward Checking Account
- For teens ages 14-17
- Free checking with rewards!**
- Can have a debit card
- Free online and mobile banking
- Receive monthly online statements
- Scholarship Accounts – every time you make a deposit of $5 or more, your name is entered to earn a Jordan Credit Union scholarship.*
- Must have parent/guardian on account. Minors age 16 and 17 may have a checking account without a parent/guardian if they have government-issued ID.
REQUIREMENTS TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT
- If the teen has a government ID (age 16+): Valid government ID and the SSN/ITIN (card not required) for the youth/teen.
- If the teen does not have a government ID: Valid government ID for the parent (joint owner) and the SSN/ITIN (card not required) for the youth/teen.

*Valid until 10/31/2024 for ages 14-19 eligible for JCU membership. Initial $50 credited within 3 days; activity-based $50 credited within the first six business of the following month for debit/ACH transactions. Account must be open and in good standing.
