POPMONEY – Getting Started

Have you heard? We upgraded our bill pay system. There are now more ways to send money to friends and family. It’s fast, easy and secure.

How to get started:

  1. Log into your eTeller account
  2. Select the “CheckFree Bill Pay” link from the left menu
  3. Select the “Popmoney” tab
  4. Choose who and how you’d like to pay

Detailed Instructions for Email or mobile:

  1.  Log into Checkfree Bill Pay
  2. Select Popmoney
  3. Activate Popmoney (You will need to verify information)
  4. Enter Recipient’s First and Last name
  5.  Choose money delivery method – [Email or Mobile] or [Bank Account]
  6. Enter Amount
  7. Select send date
  8. Choose Pay From account
  9. Enter personalized message (optional)
  10. Select continue
  11. Verify payment information is correct
  12. Select Send Payment
  13. Print confirmation screen (optional)
  14. You will receive an email from CustomerCare confirming the transaction

PLEASE NOTE: Your recipient must have their mobile phone number and email address set up and verified to accept payments. If your recipient is unable to claim the sent money, please have them check the verification status for their mobile number or email in Popmoney preferences.

  1. Log into Checkfree Bill Pay
  2. Select Popmoney
  3. Activate Popmoney (You will need to verify information)
  4. Enter recipients First and Last name
  5. Select Bank Account and insert information
  6. Enter Amount
  7. Select send date
  8. Choose Pay From account
  9. Enter personalized message (optional)
  10. Select continue
  11. Verify payment information is correct
  12. Select Send Payment
  13. Print confirmation screen (optional)
  14. You will receive an email from CustomerCare confirming the transaction.
