LaMar Beckstead (Incumbent)

I have been a member of Jordan Credit Union for 51 years and have had the privilege of serving in a variety of leadership roles for 23 of those years. My service has included positions on the Supervisory Committee, as Advisor to the Board of Directors, Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Board, and, most recently, Board Member and Finance Officer. Throughout these roles, I have been committed to supporting the credit union’s growth, strengthening its member-focused mission, and helping guide its long-term strategic direction. I hold B.S., M.E.D., and E.D.S. degrees from Brigham Young University, and I retired in 1997 after a rewarding career as a principal with the Jordan School District. During my years of service to the credit union, I have been honored with numerous awards, including the Supervisory Committee, Credit Union Services, Credit Union Leadership, Credit Committee, Board of Directors, Technology, Edward A. Filene, Fredrich W. Raiffersen, and Roy T. Bergen awards. Beyond my work with the credit union, I have dedicated 25 years as a Community Coordinator for Sandy City and continue to serve the community as an Honorary Colonel and participant in the Mobile Watch Program (Volunteers in Police Service) with the Sandy City Police Department, reflecting my long-standing commitment to public service and community engagement.

Christopher Finley (Incumbent)

I have been blessed to serve on the Jordan Credit Union Board since 2019, and having grown up in Midvale, I deeply appreciate the essential role the credit union has long played in supporting local education, teachers, and families. Over the past several years, I have been inspired by the credit union’s resilience and mission, especially during challenging times, and I continue to be impressed by the dedication, professionalism, and strength of both our employees and our members. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this work and remain committed to finding new ways to enhance member value and support the credit union’s ongoing growth. I am excited about the vision that guides Jordan Credit Union forward—one focused on staying current, expanding services, and increasing the benefits we offer to our members. With a broad professional background in law, real estate, and business, I am able to bring meaningful perspective and service to the board. I look forward to continuing my education and deepening my service to our membership, and I welcome the opportunity to further contribute as a member of the board.

Justin Field

I am an innovative and results-driven leader with more than 15 years of experience in hospitality, operations, and team development, and I am passionate about leveraging that experience in service to the Jordan Credit Union Board of Directors. Throughout my career, I have built and scaled operations, managed complex budgets, and driven sustainable growth across multiple organizations. In my current role as Food & Beverage Director at Eaglewood Golf Course & Event Center, I built kitchen operations from the ground up for a 500-guest venue, achieved over $500,000 in sales within the first six months, and now oversee a growing operation generating more than $1 million annually. Prior to this, my work as Executive Chef at Bewilder Brewing Co and as Manager at Salt City Brew Supply strengthened my expertise in financial oversight, strategic planning, and operational efficiency, skills that translate directly to effective board leadership. I hold a B.A. in Hospitality Management from the International College of Hospitality Management, Cesar Ritz, along with certifications in food safety and regulatory compliance. I am deeply committed to community engagement, continuous improvement, and supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact. I look forward to applying my operational insight, financial stewardship, and leadership experience to help advance the mission and vision of Jordan Credit Union and to contribute to the long-term success of its members.
