Chris Finley

INCUMBENT: board member

I have been blessed to be involved with the Jordan Credit Union board since 2019. Having grown up in Midvale, I appreciate the critical role the credit union has played in education locally for teachers and families. I am excited about what is happening currently and what the future holds for the credit union. Despite a difficult few years, I have been impressed with the dedication and strength of the employees and members. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and look for new ways to provide more value to the members. I am excited about the vision of Jordan Credit Union and its growth with the purpose to keep current and offer more member benefits. My broad professional experience in law, real estate, and business allows me to provide valuable service as a member of the board. I look forward to continued education and service to the members of the credit union, and would welcome the chance to continue to serve on the board.

Ben Chapman

I’ve been a member of Jordan Credit Union for over eight years. My wife and I moved to West Jordan in 2004, shortly after starting our family. I completed the full-time MBA program at Brigham Young University in 2016, starting the program with five children and graduating with six (which I believe was a record—even for BYU). With our home bursting at the seams, we subsequently moved to South Jordan in 2017. My professional experience spans business management, finance, accounting, real estate, lending, and financial technology.

Over the years, I have started and managed multiple small businesses with full P&L responsibility. In the past, I’ve also owned and managed multiple real estate portfolios, at one time exceeding 100 different properties. I look forward to serving you and bringing the perspective of a father, business owner, employee, homeowner, neighbor, and long-time south valley resident to contribute to the board.
